Welcome Ms. Rachael Cordeiro to the Tucan Team!

After serving as Golden Terrace Elementary principal for the past fifteen years, Dr. Terri Lonneman will be retiring this June. We are pleased to announce that Ms. Rachael Cordeiro has been selected as the new GTE Principal for the 2026-2027 school year.
Ms. Cordeiro has been an employee of CCPS for almost 20 years. She has served CCPS in many roles including elementary school teacher, literacy coach, assistant principal, and summer school principal. She was a classroom teacher at both Parkside Elementary and Golden Gate Elementary as well as a Reading Coach at Palmetto Elementary and Pinecrest Elementary. She also served as Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Eden Park Elementary School and Big Cypress Elementary School for the past four years. She is very excited to work with the amazing staff, students, and parents at Golden Terrace Elementary School.
